Delete your account

Everything linked to you, gone — in one step from inside the app, or by email if you can't get in.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open AskMeryam and go to the Roots tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately.

If you can't get into the app

Email askmeryam@deployenjoy.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Everything linked to your account: your login, profile, journal entries, mood check-ins, worksheet answers, dhikr and programme progress, conversations with Meryam and her memory of you, community posts, reactions, messages, friends, blocks and reports you made. Groups you created pass to another member so their conversations are not lost; a group with no other members is deleted.

Nothing is kept afterwards, apart from our database provider's rolling backups, which expire within 7 days.
