Common questions
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap Forgot password?. We email you a 6-digit code; enter it in the app with your new password. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
Is Meryam a therapist?
No. She is an AI companion grounded in Islamic sources and evidence-based self-help. She is not a doctor, therapist or mufti, and she can be wrong. When you need a person, the app lists verified Muslim therapists and helplines.
Meryam said something wrong
Press and hold the reply and choose Report: harmful, wrong about Islam, or something else. Reports are read and used to correct her.
Who can see my journal?
Only you. Meryam can read it only if you allow it under Roots → What Meryam can see.
Someone in the Circle is being unkind
Tap the post or profile to report or block them. Blocked people can be reviewed under Roots → Blocked people.
I'm not getting reminders
Check Roots → Notifications in the app, and that notifications are allowed for AskMeryam in your phone's settings. Some smartwatches dismiss phone notifications before you see them.
How much does it cost?
